Structure prices across major markets have declined by INR 400-1,000/MT for all grades. Meanwhile positive sentiments is hovering in Ahmedabad followed by Mumbai.
Demonetization have affected structure demand in domestic market but now market is recovering in western region as positive sentiments are prevailing in Ahmedabad, and Mumbai as prices raised there by INR 400/MT in a week.
Heavy structure prices in central India have fallen by INR 1,000/MT W-o-W, whereas light structure have gained marginally by INR 300/MT amid low inventory. Trade discount in Raipur heard at INR 500-800/MT on the list price.
Billet prices 125×125 mm have declined by INR 500-1,000/MT and hovering at the range of INR 20,700-24,600/MT.
Beam 200×100 mm is being offered at INR 25,750/MT in Durgapur, INR 29,200/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,400/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 29,100/MT in Mumbai and INR 24,500/MT in Raipur.
Light structure angle 40×40 mm prices are evaluated at INR 26,250/MT in Durgapur, INR 25,900/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 27,800/MT in Mumbai, INR 24,800/MT in Raipur and INR 28,000/MT in Hyderabad.
However, 200×75 channel offers are assessed at INR 25,750/MT in Durgapur, INR 29,700/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,600/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 28,500/MT in Mumbai and INR 25,000/MT in Raipur.
