Secondary rebar prices remain volatile in major Indian markets

Induction grade rebar prices today witnessed fluctuations across the regions. In most of the other regions, manufacturers either kept their offer stable due to adequate future orders and moderate transactions, or increased prices owing to higher raw material cost. Meanwhile, in the northern region, prices declined by up to INR 600/t d-o-d due to lack of buying inquiries. Rebar prices may remain strong d-o-d due to rising billet prices, trade sources reported to SteelMint.
