Domestic Coal at the recently concluded e-auction fetched
more or less the same bid that was seen in the month of January.
Offers for Gevra mines after the e-auction stands at Rs
2300/MT (including taxes). The quantity offered for Gevra mines was 1000,00 MT
at a base price of Rs 1044/MT.
Prices (including taxes) for other mines which were
e-auctioned were-
Rs 2530/MT for G 11 grade of Dipka Expn stock, Rs 1900/MT
for G12 Chhal OC, and Rs 1400/MT for Baroud OC G12 grade.
According to a trader in Chhattisgarh region, demand for
domestic coal is rising as the imported coal gets costlier after the
announcement of hike in customs duty for steam coal.
