Imported billet prices in Southeast Asia fell w-o-w amid sluggish demand. Producers reduced prices, responding to pressure from traders, who sought lower rates due to weak demand from regional buyers. Some deals were heard concluded at $450/t CFR Manila for Mar’25 shipment, sources informed. According to BigMint’s weekly assessment, prices of billets (150 x 150 mm, 5SP) imported by the Philippines were heard at $455/t CFR Manila, down $5/t w-o-w.
