Auto component producers in north India conducted many auctions for mild steel melting scrap this week. A Uttarakhand-based auto parts producer held an auction for around 400 t of CR busheling scrap on 6 Jul’22 that received bids at around INR 46,100/t exw. A Haryana-based producer received bids for 300 t auto component end-cutting material at INR 44,200-500/t. About 75-100 t of stainless steel scrap (409L grade) was heard booked at INR 52,100-52,450/t exw in the Delhi-NCR region.
