Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), output reached to 5.6 MnT in the month of Nov’16 with a significant growth of 19%, compared to last month.
SCCL’s coal production has increased by 19% to 5.6 MnT in Nov’16 as compared to Oct’16. While, yearly coal output has registered a growth of 6% in the month compared to Nov’15.
The company’s production in the first eight months of the fiscal (during Apr-Nov’16) stood at 36.5 MnT, marginally fell by 3% which was at 37.5 MnT last year during the same period.
The company has achieved about 99.6% coal production of its target from Apr-Nov’16, which was targeted 36.6 MnT for the period.
SCCL Achieves Offtake target by 101% from Apr-Nov’16
SCCL achieved more than 100% of its offtake target (36.5 MnT target) and dispatched 36.7 MnT from Apr-Nov’16. However, offtake supply have fallen by 4% compared to last year, which was 38.1 MnT during Apr-Nov’15.

Quantity in MnT
The SCCL yearly coal production was 60.38 MnT in FY16, and has set an output target of 100 MnT for 2020. The company operates about 30 underground and 16 open-cast mines in India.
