The state-run coal excavator, Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) reported to expand coal yield by 2.7% in Apr’16 against Apr’15.
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), a government coal mining organization mutually operated by the Government of Telangana and Government of India, produced 4.4 MnT of coal during Apr’16. The yield remained at 4.32 MT in the same month a year ago.

Although, SCCL has registered growth of about 3% in coal production, the coal miner missed its production target by 10% and dispatch target by 8%. The company produced 4.4 MnT against targeted 4.9 MnT and the coal dispatch was level at 4.6 MnT against targeted 5 MnT for the month, the official document revealed.
It is to be noted that, a state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited expanded coal yield by 15% to 60.38 MnT in FY16 against 52.54 MnT in FY15. Organization’s coal dispatch in FY16 expanded by 11.43% to 58.67 MnT against 52.65 MnT in FY15.
