A Saudi Arabian major Billet producer named Rajhi Steel in Jeddah (city on Red Sea coast in western Saudi Arabia) holds Billet production on orders by government.
Due to environmental concerns, Jeddah's largest steel producer has stopped production and might not resume operations till environment clearances are approved.
UAE (United Arab Emirates) Billet exports market have slowed down as buyers are unwilling to make purchases at prices standing at high levels and sellers are reluctant to either hold offers or pull them down.
Once the import tax is withdrawn in April this year, Japan will be able to make Billet exports in good volumes to Philippines based buyers.
