Sarda Metals & Alloys Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sarda Energy and Minerals, will undertake an expansion project of Ferro Alloys by way of adding one more furnace of 36 MVA (with capacity addition of 50,000 tpa) at its existing facility located at Dist. Vizianagaram, near Visakhapatnam, with an estimated CAPEX of Rs. 135 crores. The project is expected to be operational before the end of FY 2022-23. Currently, they have two furnaces of 33 MVA in the Vizianagaram plant and five furnaces of 9MVA in the Raipur plant for ferroalloys production.
