SAIL Tender for Purchase of 115,075 MT Silico Manganese

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is India’s largest steelmaker and produces a variety of steel and iron products, had invited a tender for purchase of total 115,075 MT (tentative quantity) silico manganese for its different plants.

SAIL has previously floated the tender for purchase of 164,575 MT (Tentative Quantity for Period Nov’17-Oct’18) Silico Manganese in the month of Oct’17 for one year and 55,400 MT Silico Manganese for Nov’17-Feb’18 (price discovery shall be done every four months) with a provision of inclusion of new eligible vendors at the time of every price discovery.

This is the Second Price discovery for the March’18-June’18 requirement of 49,570 MT Silicon Manganese and the tentative required quantity for March’18 –Oct’18 is 115,075 MT.

Tender schedule (IST):
The due date for bid submission is 06 Mar’18 at 12:00 hrs and the techno-commercial bid will be open on the same day at 15:30 hrs.
