SAIL has invited a tender for purchase of 10,000 MT +/- 2% LAM coke for its ‘Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Limited’.
Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant (VISL) requires 10,000 MT Low Ash Metallurgical Coke on FoR Bhadravati basis by road. The company has invited the bid only from Indigenous coke manufacturers and PSU trading firms.
The price of the material will be finalized through online reverse auction and the validity of the price bid shall be 30 days from the date of reverse auction.
Successful bidders are required to start the delivery within 7 days from the date of purchase order issued and it should be delivered at the rate of minimum 1/60th of the purchase order quantity per day.

Total Moisture: 4% max
Volatile Matter (dry basis): 1% max
Sulphur (dry basis): 0.6% max
Phosphorus (dry basis): 0.03% max
Fixed Carbon: 86% min

The last date of bid submission and techno-commercial opening are scheduled on same day i.e. 10 Jan’17 at 11:00 hrs and 11:30 hrs respectively.
