PSU steelmaker Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has rescheduled its auction for 8,550 t (three rakes) of steel grade pig iron from the Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand for 31 May’21, as per SteelMint reports. Conducted on 26 May’21, the previous auction from Bokaro had failed to attract buyers and closed without a single bid even though the company had reduced the base price by INR 2,000/t.
