The government-owned SAIL has increased its HRC and CRC prices further by INR 750/t. The effective prices now stand at INR 45,750/t for HRC and INR 55,200/t for CRC. Robust demand from the auto sector and short supply in the market pushed the mill to raise prices. It’s the third hike this month after INR 1,000-1,250/t at the beginning and INR 750/t last week.
