India's major producer of flat products, Steel Authority of
India (SAIL) has kept prices same for August against the domestic producers, though it has increased its discount structure up to Rs 1,000/t on bulk purchases, reported sources.
“Buying of flat products has been poor for last few weeks. Bulk
purchases of the material are offered a discount of Rs
500-1,000/MT”, said a sail distributor based in North India.
HR Coil (Ex-RSP) is being traded at Rs34500-35000/MT whereas
HR Coil (Ex-BSL) is being offered at Rs 35500-36000/MT. CR Coil (Ex-RSP) is
quoted at Rs38400/MT and CR Coil (Ex-BSL) at Rs 39100/MT.
