SAIL, one of the major steel producers in India, floated a tender of purchase of 69,327 MT Manganese Alloys for its various plants from indigenous manufacturers. The requirement of material is for a period of Mar-June’20. The techno-commercial bid were done for the following SAIL plants: Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP), IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), Alloy Steel Plant (ASP) and Salem Steel Plant (SSP). The online reverse auction tender process was completed on 26 Mar 2020, and following are the L-1 (Lowest) price for SAIL’s various plants:
