Russia: SUEK seeks govt intervention to maintain output, exports post sanctions

Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK) has raised concerns over coal output and export capacity amid Russian government’s lack of support for domestic industries following the western sanctions. The firm has called for government’s intervention in logistics, and infrastructure as coal miners have been facing significant cost to maintain production and export volumes post sanctions. The firm produced 106 mnt of coal in 2021.
