Russian steelmaker Severstal has released its Q2 CY’21 results today. Highlights:
- Crude steel production dropped by 6% q-o-q to 2.78 mn t due to a decrease in hot metal output and scheduled maintenance in its BOF shop.
- Steel sales were recorded at 2.68 mn t, up slightly by 2% q-o-q mainly due to strong sales of high value-added (HVA) products and semi-finished steel deliveries.
