Russia’s government has increased the tariff quota for ferrous scrap exports outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) by 100,000 t to 650,000 t till 31 Dec’24. Export duties remain at 5%, with a minimum of EUR 15/t within the quota and EUR 290/t above it.
The additional volume will be distributed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
