Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development has announced plans to cut export duty on certain ferroalloys, which was imposed at a base rate of 15% a month ago. As per the proposed revision, no duties will be levied on certain noble alloys (FeTi and FeW). Ferro chrome will be subjected to lower duties of 5% and no less than $57/t for high carbon, $109/t for 0.05-5%C, and $134/t for 0.05%C.
