Import availability of coal in Russia will increase during this year.
Coal production in Russia is being decided to be increased by 10 MnT, and also, exports are also planned to be increased by the same quantity, as said by the Deputy Energy Minister of Russia in a conference.
A total quantity of 383 MnT of coal is being planned for production this year. The quantity is higher by 10 MnT than that in 2015.
According to the Minister, Russia is also aiming China as a key export market. In 2014, 358.2 MnT of coal was produced in Russia.
