Milkhailovsky HBI – a company jointly established by USM and Milkhailovsky GOK (a part of Metalloinvest), has signed a contract with Primetals Technologies and Midrex to supply the world’s largest HBI plant. The plant will produce 2.08 mn t pa hot-briquetted iron (HBI) and is expected to start operations by 2024.
