Russia: Flat steel exports fall 7%, y-o-y, in Jan’22

Flat steel exports by Russia stood at 0.82 mnt in Jan’22, a decline of 7% y-o-y and 1% m-o-m, SteelMint data reveals. Turkey imported 0.18 mnt of flats from Russia while Belarus and Uzbekistan imported 0.07 mnt each in Jan. The largest share of exports comprised HRC at 0.46 mnt, pipes and tubes at 0.14 mnt and galvanised steel at 0.08 mnt.
