With the recent release of trade data by Russian Custom it is legible that the nation exported around 0.41 MnT ferrous scrap during Aug’16, registered a downfall of 18% M-o-M against 0.50 MnT exported in Jul’16. On similar lines, export were down by 2% Y-o-Y in Aug’16 against 0.42 MnT in Aug’15.
Russia exported 5.57 MnT in CY’15, the nation has exported 3.44 MnT during the first eight months of CY’16.
Major export destination for Russia are Turkey, Belarus, Republic of Korea and Spain.
• Russia exported 0.18 MnT ferrous scrap to Turkey during Aug’16, registered a downfall of 18% M-o-M against 0.22 MnT exported during Jul’16. Export were up by 13% Y-o-Y against 0.16 MnT exported during Aug’15.
• Russia exported 0.08 MnT ferrous scrap to Belarus during Aug’16, witnessed a downfall of 20% M-o-M against 0.10 MnT exported during Jul’16. The nation exported 0.14 MnT ferrous scrap to Belarus during Aug’15, registered a downfall of 43% Y-o-Y in Aug’16.
• Russia exported 0.07 MnT to South Korea during Aug’16, registered a downfall of 42% M-o-M against 0.12 MnT exported in Jul’16. Export remained stable Y-o-Y.
• Russia exported 0.03 MnT ferrous scrap to Spain during Aug’16, registered a downfall of 25% M-o-M against 0.04 MnT exported in Jul’16. On similar lines, export were down by 40% Y-o-Y in Aug’16.
