Russia’s ferroalloys exports increased significantly by 146% in Jul’21 in anticipation of higher export tariffs from Aug, as proposed by the Russian government. The hike was substantial for manganese alloys, and a bulk of the exports were to the EU countries. Meanwhile, exports in the first seven months of 2021 increased 33%, y-o-y, with more than double that figure for silico manganese exports during the period.
