Russian
Govt has decided to restrict the scrap export from the Far East from the next
month. The decision was announced officially on 14th this month.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed an order banning scrap exports from the
Russian Far East. The ban will come into force from 13 February, 30 days after
the order was officially published in a daily Newspaper named Rossiyskaya
Gazeta.
The order is closing all Russian Far Eastern ports,
except Magadan, which is currently frozen, SBB learns. The decision was made in
order to assist Russia's only Far Eastern steel producer working exclusively on
scrap.
