Rungta Mines-Odisha’s largest merchant iron ore miner has reduced fines prices by INR 150/MT. However lump prices continue to remain unchanged. In FY16 (till Dec’15) the miner produced 12.5 MnT iron ore.
Prior to this the merchant miner had last revised prices on 02 Dec’15 whereby it had cut lump prices by INR 100-150/MT.
Prior to this Essel Mining & Industries had cut iron ore (both lump & fines) prices by INR 150/MT on 01 Feb’16. Following the price cut by two miners, other merchant iron ore miners in Odisha may also reduce fines prices in the near term.
