For the month of June, Odisha based Iron ore miners namely Rungta Mines and Essel Miniing Limited have decided to hold prices of both lumps and fines at May levels.
According to market sources, “Miners have held offers due to availability of fewer rakes as a price fall may not help for any increase in movement of the raw material. Prices are constant since monsoons would effect output and miners are fine with holding sufficient quantity.
Also, as the state owned miner – NMDC continues to hold its ore prices for June, Odisha based miners are of the opinion that their prices are competitive”.
Market was anticipating some correction in offers looking at high production & Sponge iron prices and sufficient availability of high grade Iron ore and Pellet.

5-18 mm CLO Iron ore lumps Fe 63: Rs 7,100/MT
Iron ore fines with Fe 63: Rs 2,300/MT

5-18 mm CLO Iron ore lumps Fe 63: Rs 7,075/MT

Iron Ore Fines Fe 63: Rs 2,275/MT
