On Apr 8, RINL floated 30,000 tons Pig iron (Si 0.05%) export tender.
Last date for submission and opening of technical bids was 22nd and for price bids was 24th at 15:00 and 15:30 hrs IST.
The dates have been extended as mentioned below:
Submission of bids Apr 30, 15:00 hrs IST
Opening of technical bids Apr 30, 15:30 hrs IST
Opening of price bids May 3, 15:30 hrs IST
Delivery May 26
“The reason for extending the date is shortage of Pig iron at the moment.
We do not have fresh stock of 30,000 tons of Pig iron to offer as in the past three months, we have received export order for Pig iron in huge quantities”, said a senior RINL official.
