“The second week of 2013 bought another relief for RINL as it was able to conclude a deal of 1 lac tons of Pig iron at Rs 21,400/MT (Ex works Vizag) this evening, sources told SteelMint.
“The domestic Pig iron open tender fetched highest bid at Rs 20,916 earlier.
RINL was unwilling to sell its material as a deal for 30,000 tons of Pig iron was concluded at ($396/MT FOB Vizag Port, INR 21,800) on Jan 9 with a company in Switzerland”, they added.
In the last fortnight, the company got rid of 1,30,000 tons of Pig iron in total.
There has been no official announcement on the same and officials at RINL have not given any confirmation yet.
