Rebar producers in central India cut offers by INR 500/t

Raipur-based GK TMT has reduced rebar (Fe-500D, 10-25 mm) prices by INR 500/t to INR 52,300/t exw. GOEL TMT has slashed offers by INR 500/t to INR 52,600/t exw, excluding GST. Factors contributing to the decline in rebar prices are limited demand and falling sponge iron, billet and raw material prices in local markets. SteelMint notes.
Yesterday, SteelMint’s daily billet index fell INR 500/t to INR 44,400/t exw Raipur.
