Rebar prices in central India have inched up. It is to be noted that Rourkela rebar prices will be eliminated from our Website and SMS from now onwards.
Indian secondary rebar manufacturers based in Raipur and Raigarh have inched up their offers slightly in the last one day by around INR 200/MT amid supportive demand from the outstation.
Other Indian rebar market like east and north India has remained stable. However, prices fell by INR 500-700/MT in south India in a day.
A rebar trader based in south India shared, “A large rebar manufacturer based in Bellary is offering the material for Bangalore at INR 36,000/MT (including VAT paid) for 10-25 mm material. While, manufacturers based in Bangalore is offering the same size material at around INR 35,600/MT.”
Another rebar trader based in Raipur shared, “We prefer to sold material in north India owing to better viability. Few deals for 12 mm rebar have concluded at INR 25,100-25,200/MT (basic price) for Delhi/NCR. Freight from Raipur to NCR/Delhi is around INR 2,500/MT.”
