Re-bar trading volume remains quiet all across India despite festive season comes to an end. Whereas, Semi Finish product prices are fluctuating in the range of INR 100-200/MT in some places of India.
Market participants anticipated steel price hike post Diwali but no signs of improvement are seen yet.
It is expected that market situation might get clarity by next week.
Re-bar prices are quite stable in most of the cities.
In Southern and Central regions of India, Re-bar prices are quoted at the same level. At Hyderabad and Raipur 12 mm is quoted at around INR 31,800-32,000/MT and at INR 30,800-31,000/MT respectively.
Whereas in Mumbai, Shree Vaishnav Industries Pvt Ltd, with a Re-bar production capacity of approx 18,000MT per month, has made an increment in its price by INR 400/MT from last trade as semi finished prices increased by INR 200/MT. 12 mm is quoted at INR 33,900/MT.
