Re-bar market remained dull on Wednesday. Prices corrected by Rs 150-200/MT at mandis' like
Durgapur, Mandi Gobindgarh & Raipur following a decline in Ingot prices.
Whereas, TMT prices in Rourkela went down by Rs 700/MT after
being held firm at the level of Rs 38,000/MT from past few days.
According to the manufacturer in Rourkela, “We have a
turnover of 300MT per day and this builds a selling pressure in a market
situation like this. Prices were kept firm in past few days but selling pressure
made us reduce the prices”.
