Structure manufacturers based at Raipur offers a discount of Rs 200-500/MT, because of low demand. In the beginning of the month of June'13, Structure supplied to Ghaziabad was of good quantity, says a manufacturer based at Raipur. Light structure manufacturers used to sell 80-100 MT of structure on daily basis. A concerned person from small structure manufacturing unit said, “We reduced 30-40% of production to match the consumption level at present”. Mostly demand is from Nagpur, Pune and Hyderabad; whereas, demand in local market is average.
At the same time Mahamaya Ispat based at Raipur offers discount of Rs 200-300/MT on the basis of quantity. However, they quoted Rs 32,200/MT for 250 I-Beam.
SKS Ispat holds the prices; they last changed their prices in very first week of the June, 2013. They also confirmed that they supplied material to Ghaziabad.
