Raipur sponge iron prices rise as billet offers rebound

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) in Raipur rose by INR 200/t to INR 32,900/t exw.
About 4,200 t of FeM 80% P-DRI deals were reported at INR 32,600-32,900/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
The rise in billet offers by INR 400/t, d-o-d along with higher coal offers has encouraged sponge iron makers to lift their prices.
