Raipur plants book sponge iron from Odisha, Raigarh

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) in Raipur stood firm at INR 33,200/t exw.
4,700 t FeM 78-80% P-DRI deals were recorded today, 70% of which were concluded by Odisha-based plants. FeM 78% was traded at INR 32,500-32,700/t and FeM 79-80% material was booked at INR 33,000-33,200/t both on DAP Raipur basis.
Meanwhile, Raipur-based plants floated offers at INR 33,300-33,700/t exw and hardly any deals were reported due to bid-offer disparities.
