Re-bar Price at Raipur shows a slight improvement of Rs 200-300/MT on Saturday, because of high ingot prices. Mumbai TMT prices also hike by Rs 200-400/MT in last two days.
Ingot prices in Durgapur move up by Rs 400 however re-bar prices remain same and offered at Rs 40,100/MT (Including all). Manufacturers and traders says market will further improve in next 2-3 days.
Adding on this manufacturer from Mumbai and Raipur confirmed that local demand for re-bar is increased and demand from south region support the price increment. Raipur re-bar offered on Saturday at Rs 34,500/MT (Basic price) i.e. after increase by Rs 300/MT and in Mumbai it’s traded on Rs 36,400/MT (Basic price). Manufacturing in North India slow down due to cold.
