Structure prices in India shows a slight fall in Mumbai, prices dropped by Rs 200/MT. 40 Angle is being traded at Rs 36,400/MT (Basic price).
Also in Raipur local structure prices goes down by Rs 500-600/MT in a week’s time because of low demand and over availability of material today 40 Angle is offers at Rs 33,300/MT (Basic price).
However Chairman and Managing Director of RINL Mr. AP Chaudhary told PTI, steel may become costlier again in February, on the back of pick up in domestic demand and rise in international prices, due to a spurt in input costs. “With the firming up of international prices and growth in domestic consumption, he also added steel prices may further recover. The recovery has started with the recent hikes and will continue”.
