Spot prices of seaborne coking coal continue to fall on the
back of competition between miners and traders to clear the stock.
Currently the market for Premium Low-volume is at $157.50/MT (FOB AUSTRALIA) down by $2/MT from the previous value, however price for HCC 64
MID-volume is at $144.50/MT (FOB) remaining unchanged.
The price offered to India and China are same, “There is
some buying interest for cargoes to be loaded in January though the demand is
low”- a source said.
