HR strip (patra) prices have increased d-o-d today due to power outages in central as well as northern India hindering production. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are:
- Mandi Gobindgarh: INR 64,300/t ($841/t), up by INR 2,700/t ($35/t)
- Raipur: INR 61,800/t ($808/t), higher by INR 1,300/t ($17/t) d-o-d.
- These prices are on an exw basis and exclusive of 18% GST.
