South Korean steel giant POSCO will conduct major repairs at its Gwangyang steel mill in June and July 2024. The Gwangyang 2nd cold rolling plant, with 2.6 million tonnes per annum capacity, will undergo repairs for a month from mid-June. This will be followed by the Gwangyang hot rolling plant 1, with a capacity of 6.2 mtpa, undergoing repairs for 15 days from late-June.
