Poland: KGHM’s copper production rises 4%, y-o-y, in Q1 2022

Polish copper producer KGHM’s (Kombinat Gorniczo-Hutniczy Miedzi) profit jumped to a record high in Q1 2022, as its copper output rose by 4% y-o-y to 193,200 t.
The company’s operations include mining, smelting and refining facilities across three business segments in Poland, the USA, Chile and Canada.
The company’s Rudna mine has a production capacity of around 12 mnt/year of copper ore.
