Prices for pipe have improved in Mandi Gobindgarh and Raipur in the range of Rs 300-400/MT on the back of improved demand and increased prices of ingot in few days.
Currently, the basic price for Round Pipe in Mandi Gobindgarh stands at Rs 36,000/MT with an increase in price by Rs 400/MT, whereas price in Raipur is hovering at Rs 36,800/MT with an increase of Rs 300/MT.
Market for pipe is to remain same in the near future said a pipe manufacturer based in Raipur due to less demand in the current price level, on the other hand a manufacturer based in Mandi Gobindgarh holds the view that the market should improve with trade of Ingot in NCDEX being started after a gap of four months.
