“Pig Iron trades restarts at Jindal Steel and Power based at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The company
has received 5,000 tons of steel grade Pig Iron bookings and
current prices stand at Rs 26,300/MT (Basic).
Bookings were closed
during the end of first week of October and steel grade Pig Iron was offered at Rs
26,000/MT (Basic) previously, which has been raised by Rs 300/MT”, said Mr
Ramkishor, Senior DGM at JSPL, Raigarh.
“Buying
volumes of Pig Iron is expected to show slight improvement and steel grade Pig Iron offers might be range bound in the coming days”, he added.
