“Pig Iron demand is assumed to gain strength in the start of November with a price hike of Rs 500/MT”, shared Mr. Manas Ranjan Behera, Deputy General Manager for Marketing at Mideast Integrated Steel Ltd (MISL) based at Cuttack, Odisha.
The official is quite optimistic about improved sales and said that Mesco Steel is selling steel grade Pig Iron at Rs 24,300/MT (Ex works Cuttack) presently.
Above 20,000 tons of material is produced every month and daily sales stands at around 700 tons. In September this year, the company sold more than 20,000 tons.
