Most of the steel mills have reduced domestic Pig Iron prices for September due to limited buying and also as Billet prices fall by RMB 70/t last weekend.
In Tangshan city of China, steel Pig Iron is being quoted at RMB 2,580-2,600/t (Ex works prices including 17% VAT), down by RMB 120/t.
Pig Iron prices in China reduce by RMB 280/t in a month's time.
Production has been lowered as not many new booking orders are being placed by buyers.
