Pig Iron trades in China's domestic market have improved slightly. On account of the above, steel mills in China hold Pig Iron offers.
Buying is not too good due to fluctuating prices of raw materials and semis i.e. iron ore and billet.
In Tangshan, steel Pig Iron price is quoted at Rs 2,600-2,650/MT (Ex works price inclusive of 17% VAT on cash payment basis).
Pig Iron market in China looks to be more or less unchanged regarding prices and demand by the end of current week. Also, steel mills are facing some shortage of material presently.
