Pig Iron is being traded at high prices in the CIS     

Pig Iron prices in the CIS have witnessed an upward trend for a couple of weeks and have been moving up further by suppliers.

It was being traded from the Black Sea and Baltic Sea at high prices in the week before.

Though, ferrous scrap import prices in Turkey were at low levels and deals were limited, Pig Iron was offered by $10/MT more and were quoted in the range of $410-420/MT FOB.

Whereas, Pig Iron exporters in Ukraine are offering the semi finished material at $10/MT more to prices standing in the range of $380-390/MT FOB.
