Imports of Pig Iron in
Turkey falls to 35.9% at 89,808 mt in June as compared to May '12 and moves up
by 0.6% in comparison to June in last year, according to Turkish
Statistical Institute's (TUIK) customs statistics.
Ukraine exported 48,900 mt,
16.1% more to Turkey in June this year than last years June figure. Whereas, that
of Russia was 31,586 mt in June , down by 23.1% as compared to June 2011.
Imports in total was
729,498 mt in Jan to Jun 12, up by 65.6% from Jan to Jun 11. Average import
price in Jan to Jun 12 was $483/mt, down by $43/mt from Jan to June '11.
