PELLEX down further by INR 150/MT to INR 6,800/wmt (DAP Raipur). One of the pellet deal heard from Raipur pellet maker to Bilaspur around 5,000MT at INR 6,600/MT(Ex-plant) normalizing freight to Raipur at INR 6,750/MT(DAP, Raipur).
In another deal, Odisha based pellet maker sold around 15,000 MT pellets to Raipur at around INR 6,600/MT (DAP, Raipur).
Major Raipur based pellet makers kept the offers stable at INR 7,400/MT( Ex-plant); normalizing for freight to Raipur at INR 7,550/MT (DAP Raipur). There is an indication from markets that offers may revise soon.
SteelMint P-DRI Assessment (Feb 07, 2020) stable W-o-W to INR 19,200/MT in line with last week’s offer.
Raigarh based pellet makers offer at INR 6,100-6,300/MT (EXW).
No pellets export deal heard in this publishing window. SteelMint assessment for standard grade pellets (Fe 64%, 3% Al) stands at USD 120/MT, CFR China against last week. Considering the coronavirus outbreak, deals have dried up for China.
India Pellet Trade Log:
— Bellary based major pellet makers sold around 15,000 MT pellets for Fe 63% grade at INR 6,900-7,000/MT in the last three-four days.
—Jamshedpur based major pellet maker sold around 20,000 MT pellets for Fe 63% grade at INR 6,200-6,300/MT yesterday.
— Kalinga Nagar based steelmaker has booked around 50,000 MT pellets from Odisha at INR 6,700/MT (Landed) recently.
